J. Thomas Cookie FAQ's
Q. I got on to your site before, but now I can't. What's going on?
A. Your cookies may have been deleted. Click Option 2 (I need a cookie.)

Q. Why do I need a cookie?
A. J-Thomas stores a cookie in your browser which will be used to identify you when you come back so you won't have to enter your personal information again. J-Thomas does not use this cookie for any other purpose than to identify you when you're logging in to your account. Your J-Thomas cookie cannot be used or seen by any site other than J-Thomas.

Q. Is a cookie a "security threat"?
A. No. If you're concerned about privacy issues or if you're interested in knowing more about cookies, the W3C's security FAQ (specifically question 10, Do "Cookies" Pose any Security Risks?) is a great place to look.

Q. Once I set my J-Thomas cookie, who can access my J-Thomas account?
A. Once your J-Thomas cookie is "set", only let people that you trust use YOUR computer. The J-Thomas cookie allows anyone that uses YOUR computer access to your J-Thomas account.

Q. I am getting an error message that says "Web access is not Available." Why?
A. Your browser setting needs to be changed to accept cookies. In Explorer (6.0) go to: Tools - Internet Options - Privacy - and slide the bar down from "Block All Cookies."

Call us anytime at 800 828 7980.
Thank you very much,
